Novartis Patient Support is a patient support service from Novartis that helps support you and your patients throughout the treatment journey, to help ensure your patients receive the one-time gene replacement therapy in a timely manner.
Novartis Patient Support associates are knowledgeable and ready to help you and your staff by:
Answering questions about ZOLGENSMA
Offering dedicated, personalized support
Assisting and guiding caregivers with reminders about the process before, during, and after treatment
Verifying your patients’ insurance benefits
Providing support on financial assistance programs for eligible patients
Dedicated assistance from Novartis Patient Support and educational resources help patients get started on treatment and support them along the way. Novartis Patient Support is not a clinical service and does not replace guidance from health care providers. Our goal is to help patients and caregivers feel informed about their treatment from day one.

The experienced Novartis Patient Support team is here to support your patients and their families. They can collaborate with you to offer additional, customizable nonclinical support on matters pertaining to your patients’ health insurance and provide guidance on any reimbursement-related questions for your practice.
Novartis Patient Support may help caregivers find programs that provide additional financial resources to support them
The Novartis Patient Support team includes a one-on-one, dedicated Case Coordinator, who can provide insurance support, financial support, and ongoing support for eligible patients prescribed ZOLGENSMA.

Case Coordinator
Eligible patients prescribed ZOLGENSMA can receive insurance support, financial support, and ongoing support, including:
Answering questions related to SMA and ZOLGENSMA
Explaining the steps before and after treatment with ZOLGENSMA
Helping navigate the insurance and reimbursement process, including benefits verification and prior authorization and appeals support
Identifying financial support options and eligibility
Tracking the ZOLGENSMA treatment from prescription to delivery to the site of administration
